My issue connects to Chicago that everyday people use their cars and which then pollutes are local air. What could help is if you are not going to far maybe walking or riding a bike could help use less gas which releases carbon dioxide.
What I think it means to think globally and act locally is that the issues around the world could be the same ones around you. If you think globally you could think of ideas to try and help to fix them but you have to do it locally because you can’t do all of this all over the world.
Activists are helping to prevent global warming in Chicago by planting native tress at Chicago park district Burnham Wildlife Corridor.
These organizations take help from volunteers all you have to do is contact them in organization that works in Illinois is the nature conservancy.
How I think us as students do to help prevent more global warming is by helping plant trees or maybe easier things like using less fuel. For example if a store is not too far away maybe go walking or use a bike not only do you prevent more carbon dioxide release to the air but you also save money by not using the car. Another thing I think that could be used is to buy the phone charger that uses a solar panel. Students can change the environmental issues by letting others know about the impacts that they could. They may not see it right or way but maybe there children will see it.
